Ken Lortz was elected by acclamation as director of UAW Region 2B by delegates to a special convention held April 30, 2009. Lortz had served as assistant director of the region, which covers the state of Ohio, since 2002 when he was appointed to the position by UAW President Ron Gettelfinger

Stephen Kemp has been appointed to assistant director UAW Region 2-B formerly held by Ken Lortz. Stephen had served as Region 2-B Servicing Representative prior to this appointment.

Wayne Blanchard was appointed to UAW Servicing Representive for Region 2-B formerly held by Stephen Kemp. Wayne had served as president of Local 1435 prior to his appointment. As we are sorry to see Wayne go, we are proud and thankful to have him representing us at this level.
