Community Service Committee

Community Services Committee performs the important task of getting help for members and their families in time of need. These committees work through public and private organizations to assure that these problems faced by members in emergency situations get the needed help. These are the committees which generally handle the strike insurance benefits when local unions are forced to use their economic strength. Service in this area is provided by the Community Services Department of the International Union.
